SWIR SERIES: SHORT WAVE INFRA-RED LENSES

SWIR Seriesis a family of Short Wave Infra-red lenses specifically designed to operate in the 0.9-1.7 µm wavelenght region. This serie has been specifically designed to match the new 15 µm format InGaAs FPA Focal Plane Arrays. The lenses offer an industry standard C or F-mount threaded style interface or, alternatively, they can be equipped with a custom mount interface atno additional cost.

MWIR SERIES: MEDIUM WAVE INFRA-RED LENSES

MWIR Seriesis a family of mid Wave Infra-red lenses specifically designed to operate in the 3-5 μm wavelenght region with InSb FPA Focal Plane Arrays. The lenses offer a Bayonet standard interface or, alternatively, they can be equipped with a custom mount interface atno additional cost.

LWIR SERIES: LONG WAVE INFRA-RED LENSES

LWIR Seriesis a family of Long Wave Infra-red lenses specifically designed to operate in the 8-14 μm wavelenght region with uncooled detectors (a-Si, VOx, …). The lenses can be equipped with any custom mount interface atno additional cost.

In the design of the lenses, great importance was attached to a good image quality and a large aperture (small F-number).

CUSTOM-MADE INFRA-RED OPTICS

Opto-E has a proven expertise in developing IR optics for different wavelength ranges (SWIR, MWIR 3-5 microns, LWIR 8-14 microns) and different applications, ranging from industrial control to military applications.

Germanium, Silicon, Zinc Selenide and Zinc Sulfide are the most commonly worked optical materials, also AR and HCAR coated. Opto-E can easily design any new optics from scratch and provide quantities from a single prototype up to several hundreds pieces. Opto-E will cooperate with your engineering staff to design and optimize a lens which will mechanically fit your application and system.
