3D Scanners by LMI
Assatec approached us at ASIO Vision about a year ago, at a stage when they were searching for a smart solution for a client who needed to detect defects in bleach bottles.
It’s important to note that filling a defective bottle leads to significant waste of material and time.
To achieve quality control and high-resolution 3D imaging, Assatec Robotics chose to use two 3D scanners by LMI.

At this stage, we assisted in identifying the most suitable product from the LMI catalog, supported feasibility testing, placed the order, provided full support, and gave a professional tutorial on how to operate the cameras — until the desired level of accuracy was achieved.
Result
After integrating the cameras into the production line, the solution was a complete success, fully meeting the end user’s expectations.
The high-resolution 3D cameras helped scan and detect deformations or wear in bottles intended for filling, significantly improving the efficiency and productivity of the production line — with success rates increasing dramatically.
